how do i see history photographs of my city?

i'm wanting to look at photographs of certain areas in my city to see how my street use to look i want to show my kids what my old neighborhood use to look like so iwant to know what do i type to see these photographs please help

I teach history so take this as you would any teacher who would guide you in a research project...go to your city archives or historical society. they usually have pictures and stories. nother option is to try to find the oldest church, in th old days the church was the record keepers of a town.
