I NEED THE ANSWER 11-1-2006!!!!

Chemically combined means that the two substances have reacted together to give a new substance, as opposed to just mixing. Like, if you mixed hydrogen and oxygen together without a reaction, you'd still have hydrogen gas and oxygen gas. But if they react together, they're chemically combined to give water.

This really should have been in chemistry rather than mathematics.

IF you mean chemically combined...It means that the parts can no longer be separated by physical means...In fact the item is brand new.

Physically combined example salt + water = salt water...
Evaporate the water and you get the salt back...

Chemically combined example: mix HCl and NaOH in water and you'll get salt water...You can't get back HCl and/or NaOH

Chemically combined means that a compound was formed either by giving and taking of electrons or by sharing electrons.
