I saw most of the movie 'the craft' with neve campbell on TBS today, but i missed towards the end. i saw the part where nancy is making out with that guy that sarah put a love spell on, and then nancy made him fall out of the window. and then i saw the very very end where sarah was like "you don't want to end up like nancy" and nancy was in like the psych ward of a hospital.
what happened in between? what event put nancy in the psych ward, or was it just a natural evolution b/c she invoked her spirit?

Sarah tries to bind Nancy's powers but it doesn't work, only pisses her off. Nancy later tries to kill Sarah, but Sarah invokes the spirit for herself and kicks Nancy's ***, and drives Nancy crazy.

As it's unintentional, I don't see it really being a problem. Maybe you could switch one of the names around so that they're opposites if it bothers you that much? Matthew Jude or McKayla Joanna instead? I don't see any problem with the names anyway though. They're completely different, after all.

As I recall, Nancy (Fairuza Balk) ended using her powers in an evil way and it worked against her. The only one that retained her powers was Sarah (Robin Tunney) and the other two just wind up back to the way they were.
