1. Do you think people are generally respectful?
and why
2. How do you show respect for others?
3.What disrespectfull acts really bother you?
4. Why do these acts bother you?
5. Do you believe that if you give respect, you get respect?

1-generally --yes-- but rapidly becoming less so every year of late
2-by giving each person the space they deserve and holding off on my input with them until it is either called for or they themselves step out over the line.......
3-people pushing out ahead of you in almost any situation--be it in traffic or in the check-out at the grocery store--it's an act of--me first--when they are anything but the next up !!!
4--it is an act usually that says---I'm important, and your not-- it is someone saying by their actions that (even though they really don't even know you) they are more worthy of access than you !!
5-- generally speaking you will receive more respect from people if you are showing more respect FOR people-- but-- sadly this is not always the case--- and like I said in my opening-- it is getting to be less and less the case with every passing year !!!

Not to sound rood but all you problems will end once you stop feeling like a victim. I am getting tiered of some women complaining all the time how they are not understood and treated poorly. I looked into it for a friend and there is a very good book by Susan Jeffers, Ph.D. called Feel the Fear and do it Anyways. I hope this helps answer all of the above questions and more.

1. No. people are too busy to take the time to be rspectful
2.Being kind, honest and polite
3.People step all over u and don't even say sorry
4.If i can take the time to say sorry, they should too
5.Yes. try it yourself, you will see
