weell the two digits have to be either 6 and 2, or 4 and 3, since those are the only two single digit pairs that make 12. and 6 +2 = 8, so its either 26 or 62. given the domain, the answer is 62.

First, if the product of the digits is 12, the digits have to be either 2,3, 4 or 6. Then I just found out that 6+2=8 and that 62 is between 30 and 90...

xy= 12

hence, x^2 - 8x + 12=0
