The best place to start looking at "ideas" for a book would be a regular notepad book. The same as you'd use for taking notes. Then put down your ideas as you think of them and organize them later into structured thoughts and go from there...There isn't any programing that can make you creative enough to write a book...

Hello freddy,

There are programs out there that help you organize your thoughts and writings. You can go to version tracker and do a search.

Frankly, most publishers simply work with Microsoft Word files. So that would be your best bet. Also, there's a magazine out for writers, "Writers Digest" (not sure of the title), perhaps somebody else can remember the name of that.

Go to a book store and and ask them about that.

any old-fashioned notebook and a good comfortable pen will do. Why is it that most kids today think you need a special gizmo to accomplish a task? Just start writing ideas! If you need to keep them organized use a card file or a simple word processing program, like MS Word.
