Compared to what? Grade school? Well, let's put it this way, the more advanced you go through school, it becomes a little more difficult. Middle school actually is preparing you for high school. You have less help in high school than middle school, but you learn the foundation for high school, such as a language (at least that is what they do in my area), advanced math, going into early algebra by the 8th grade, and so to answer your question, it depends upon how you adept to school, are you a good student, do you study? You will have more homework vs. grade school.
High school is more difficult than middle school; college is more difficult than high school. It is all a learning process and you have to study and make the most of it.

Middle school is not hard ( I am a middle school teacher) but it is different than elm. you have to stay up on your notes and your assignments. If you are doing well in elm than you should do fine!! Your first couple of months may be hard but by October (when ever you begin) you should be ready!!

Actually no it is not. I remember my first days of junior high school a few years back and it went pretty smooth. Bout the same as elementary but without recess and the tetherballs. Trust me, you'll meet alot of new people and the 2 years will go by really fast.

well it all depends if you have hard teachers, if you pay attention in class, and also if you have to take a state test of some sort.

no. its not at all. its just like elementary just a lil bigger. the teachers just expect more out of u and u shud expect more out of yourself at that point. make good friends and study hard. good luck!!!
