Yes, you can. Just look up Verizon phones on Ebay. Once you get it in the mail call Verizon's customer service and tell them about it and say you want to switch your plan and number over to that phone, they'll be sure to do it for you.

Although, you can't get contacts, pics and tones transfered to the new phone.

yes but make da*n sure it's a verizon phone, if it came off another carrier's network the associates at the verizon store can't get into the programing and won't be able to program your phone number into it, plus you won't get crap for service.

How can the contacts/pics/ tones get transferred unless you have the old phone?????

Just go back out into the leaf pile and look for the phone! Try borrowing a bud's phone and call your number so your lost phone will ring (more than one way to find a needle in a haystack)

Yeah. turn off your old telephone and communicate to *228 (option 3) from the hot one. which will activate it. in spite of the indisputable fact that you'll want a knowledge plan further in case you dont already have one. yet yeah, *228/3 is all you want to do to software it.
