He is actual leaving. He was one of my favorite Smackdown superstars too. He was on of the only good people on Smackdown! He has be wrestling for a lot of years now.

What the heck? He's leaving??????? Son of a .... He's was my favorite wrestler on SmackDown! That can't be! He should be going to Raw, ECW, or TNA! The I Quit match was just supposed to be a match were the loser goes to the other brand. To answer your question, no. I can't believe it. I've been his fan ever since he was on WCW. I was so excited about his debut in the WWE back around 2002-2003. AW crap. I guess there's a time for everyone to quit wrestling. I could've sworn Taker would go before him.

Honestly, it could be true, but we all know when wrestlers are having a hard time (personal issues), or suffering from injuries, they write it in the storyline for them to "retire" for awhile. Hello-it happened with Chavo! He said he was done, but look who's back not even 6 months later. Rey is in his prime, and I know he's got mileage, but not enough to retire.
Hell Undertaker is still around!!!

I thought it was just a way to explain his knee surgery and him being out of the scene for 6 months until I went to his website today. It doesn't exist anymore. There's a note from Chavo saying quitters don't need a website and the link goes to Chavo's site.
