Da Bears will not just be at da Superbowl, they will be da winners. If people are making fun of you, they're just envious that you're supporting a winning team. They probably support that group of guys from Wisconsin that get together once a week and attempt to play ball. What do you expect from people that wear cheese on their heads?

They are making fun of you not only because you support the Bears...but because of the way Bear fans talk. You do know the SNL skit that started this whole "Da Bears" stuff....was a skit making fun of Bear fans don't you? Da this...da that...do Bear fans actually talk like that?
EDIT: BikerBob? "they're just envious that you're supporting a winning team"?
Now that makes sense. Considering anyone can support a winning team if they choose to do so how can that possibly make anyone envious?

You are right in rooting for your team, and you should never apologize for that. However, you need to temper your enthusiasm, because your Bears, despite a dstrong defense, is not in the elite in the league based on an undefeated start. It is a SIXTEEN-game schedule, and every week you have to go out and prove it. Your schedule is gonna get tougher when u start playing out of your division, and we'll see how it pans out. Til then - keep cheering for them but keep your eyes open for other teams that may be better.

Possibly, they have a good chance they way things are falling in place for them, but there are alot of teams that may emerge that people doubt now, so it will be easier to see in week 11 and 12 who has the mot potiential and the most promise.

I'm not a Bears fan but I grew up watching them in their glory days. I'm an Eagles fan til the day I die but... if it can't be us representing the NFC in the Superbowl (and it's not looking that way), I hope it's them. Super Bears!!!

Maybe. The season isn't even half over. They are most likely going to the playoffs, but they will have to play well in the playoffs, even if they go14-2.
