Not just the tube underground. All the tunnels. Please don't tell me homeless people. They say it's like a "small community" down there. Is this true?

Currently the largest underground community is "The Posties". They inhabit part of what used to be the Royal Mail's underground railway, which transported parcels by driverless trains, between Paddington and Liverpool Street. The Posties are led by Shane Hopkins and Freda Hutton, and they broke away from the Aldwych underground group in 2003. Their communal, loosely anarchist philosophy (based on the work of Abbie Hoffmann and other yippies of the late 1960s) attracted a large segment of the already established underground dwellers to join them, as it provided a theroretical foundation to their lifestyle, which had been lacking previously. Many of the almost 100-strong Posties have regular daytime jobs in central London, and reach street level from a couple of (secluded) access chambers that have not been secured.

Ya, if you go in the tube very late and try to stay in the station after closing time, you will meet them. Take a weapon with you. The last person i heard of who went in there, we never saw him again. Good luck.
