in the naruto series which one is more ahead in teh story? the comic series or the animated series?

I'm pretty sure that the manga is ahead.

The animated series (as in Japan) is currently stuck in among a wave of fillers (*though filler arc should quite soon*) so they could give Kishimoto the time to work on the manga. A 30 minute film could cover alot more material than a comic can.
Therefore, the manga is much, much, ahead.
If you are asking about the English version, the comic was translated and published first before they brocasted the show @ CN/YTV. So either way the comic should also be ahead.

The manga is ahead ... the show would be leveled with it, but it moved too fast. So that's why most fans have had to put up with this wave of 'filler' episodes while eagarly awaiting the next season and Kakashi Gaiden.

SPOILER: Itachi dies after unfastened Sasuke from the curse and giving him mk sharingan To the question: i think of Naruto will kill Pein first. and then Sasuke and Naruto will combat Tobi/Madara at the same time. i think of the Rai will take out the different Akatsuki individuals. If a sparkling enemy emerges i think of it would be Naruto's very final combat (in all probability his father?). i do no longer think of Naruto, Sasuke, or Sakura will die. that's like they take the placement of the Sanin, and then Naruto will become the 6th Hokage (Kakashi is lifeless, ERR that Pein).
