I am on Primacare One prenatal vitamins, and am gaining really slowly... so I don't think they'd make you gain weight. They are just vitamins. I lost 8 pounds first and now gained only 4 back and I am 16.5 weeks pregnant, and everything has been perfect via ultrasound and appts. Good luck!

I took primacare for over a year before I conceived and my weight pretty much stayed the same, but everyone could have different reactions from it. Though I've never heard of that being a side effect.

I was taking that while I was pregnant with my second child. And I did notice that I gained more weight with him than my first pregnancy.

Vitamins do not make you gain weight. They have no calories or fat.
