I mean if the woman starts the fight, and the guy is trying to just walk away from it. But she won't she keeps on puching at him and cursing him out. Does a man have the right to hit a woman? Or should he not hit her?

that's a tough question. i have seen some crazy bizznits hit their men. if i was the dude, i would let her beat the shizznit out of me. seriously, how much damage can a woman do? plus she cant take the man to court if the man is all bruised up and stuff. and if the man tries to restrain her, (not hit back- but to restrain her) she could turn it around and say he was doing the hitting. lesson: women are crazy, its safer to be gay. LMFAO.

No, it's not okay for a man to hit a woman, under no circumstances is it okay. The man should just walk away from the situation, even if she is hitting him repeatedly. Walk away and get to a phone and call the police. Don't hit a woman for self defense, because than you could be possibly be charged with battery against her. 2 wrongs don't make a right. The man just has to remove himself from the conflict and do the next best thing. There are too many men who already degrade themselves from hitting women. Now if she pulled a gun or something on you, that's an entirely different question, because you really wouldn't have no way around for self defense, unless you believe you are physically stronger before her thumb triggers the trigger.

A man should never hit a woman.. Even in self defence.. Saying that.. There really is no reason for a woman to hit a man either.. But if she does, the man should just walk away.. Men are physically stronger than the majority of women (even when they're really angry!) and can inflict far more damage than intended.. I just think hitting people is wrong all round! If you've gotta hurt someone.. Do it with words.. Its far more painful..

I truly believe it is never OK for a man to hit a woman (or for anybody else). He should be able to restrain her. However, if he is physical impaired or perhaps his life is in danger he could most likely shove her out of the way.

No a man should not hit a woman. he should continue to walk away and try and ignore her even if she is goin off her head.... just let her go, if you hit her; 1. you will get into alot of trouble 2. you will be less of a man... just ignore her and walk away....:)

No, it is not. They do it because they can not control some else in their life, so they figure they will control the girlfriend or wife. If you get most of the guys with some one who can defend themselves, they do not want to use the other person as a punching bag. That is why they do not beat a another guy up. If a guy has to beat a women up, they are the weaklings.

of course as a woman i would say it is not ok for a man to hit a woman. but i have seen n heard the ways some women behave, and sad to say, sometimes i feel they deserve to be punched.
one og my own girlfriend fights with the boyfriend. she was punching him and all that. and when he got no resond, she use a baseball bat to his his dog. so you think she deserve to be punched? but her boyfriend did not raise his hand on her.
so i think it really depends.

no just grab her around the waist and tell her as calmly as possible to settle down usually a woman will abide- but dont continue an abusive relationship after this OR seek counseling

It is never ok to hit anyone. If he's smart, he will remove himself from the area, call the police and press charges for battery. If he hits back, he can also be arrested for battery.
