I knew fairy tales written by Denmark writer Andersen very well when I was a child, and I liked that very much. And I did believe that would be something truth in somewhere in our planet.

I read some other tales too, like one thousand and one night, the stories based on Arabian life. That’s amazing too!

When I was a child, I believed everything from the tales and hoped I would have a chance living together with those who are in the story.

How’s that for you?

I believed so much in tales that, when my sister went behind my back and cleaned my room for me when I was very small, I believed her when she told me that Santa Claus had cleaned it.
I never immersed myself in tales where I believed them. I immersed myself in my imagination, though I knew when to get out. I believed a lot of what people told me, concerning imaginary things. Once I lost a tooth and didn't tell my parents so I put it under my pillow and was upset when the Tooth Fairy hadn't visited me.

They didnt, but now as an adult, I read into them differently. Theyre very metaphorical about life, work, dreams, relationships, etc. If you want a good book on fairy tales, try Red as Blood by Tanith Lee. Its deep and dark, but I'll take it over disney any day.

I always loved the fairy tales and I still believe there's something wonderfully magical about life.

I was really scared of some of them- like Hansel and Gretel. I think it's horrible to tell children such sadistic stories. I was afraid of sleeping beauty, and snow white too (all by the Grimm brothers - they are just like their name.).
