I am making a slideshow of pictures to play at my mom's 50th birthday party. However, I need some ideas on songs. It's a bunch of pics from her growing up, pics of her kids, her husband, the whole family, her grandkids. So I would like it to be something with meaning, maybe something about family or life in general. Please help! Also, does anyone know where I can get a slideshow made on DVD? (with my own music)

We Did 100 Years by Five For Fighting for my Dad's 65th and it was a huge hit. The great thing is - it goes chronologically...so it helps in your organizing the photos and making the slideshow flow...here are the lyrics. Good luck.
I'm 15 for a moment
Caught in between 10 and 20
And I'm just dreaming
Counting the ways to where you are
I'm 22 for a moment
She feels better than ever
And we're on fire
Making our way back from Mars
15 there's still time for you
Time to buy and time to lose
15, there's never a wish better than this
When you only got 100 years to live
I'm 33 for a moment
Still the man, but you see I'm a they
A kid on the way
A family on my mind
I'm 45 for a moment
The sea is high
And I'm heading into a crisis
Chasing the years of my life
15 there's still time for you
Time to buy, Time to lose yourself
Within a morning star
15 I'm all right with you
15, there's never a wish better than this
When you only got 100 years to live
Half time goes by
Suddenly you’re wise
Another blink of an eye
67 is gone
The sun is getting high
We're moving on...
I'm 99 for a moment
Dying for just another moment
And I'm just dreaming
Counting the ways to where you are
15 there's still time for you
22 I feel her too
33 you’re on your way
Every day's a new day...
15 there's still time for you
Time to buy and time to choose
Hey 15, there's never a wish better than this
When you only got 100 years to live

Well, I suggest:

Mother - Pink Floyd (The Wall)
Mother Focus - Focus (The Best of Focus)
Sylvia's Mother - Dr. Hook

Also I'd suggest those songs since they have a meaning about familiar tides, support and more...

We can make it - Boston (Third Stage)
Time in a Bottle - Jim Croce (his greatest hits)

Hope this would be useful to you!

Don't listen to anyone who tries to get you to include Mother by Pink Floyd.... it's a tragic tune about the overbearing nature of motherly love and is highly not-appropriate..

My husband and his mom danced to "ultimately" by potential of Ella Fitzgerald. It grew to become into somewhat candy. there is likewise, "A music for Mama" by potential of Boyz II men once you're into that. Kinda previous college. "Then they do" by potential of hint Adkins is a competent one. "Mama's music" by potential of Carrie Underwood, yet that's greater mom/Daughter than mom/Son. merely gotta shop an open ear. something will strike you by using fact the proper music.
