No, and this is why, after ovulation (if "contact" happened during ovulation) and if fertilization ocurred, it takes from 5-7 days for baby to implant, during this time your body doesn't know that you are pregnant because the baby has not attached to the uterine wall, so after it does it starts releasing hcg which is the pregnancy hormone that is detected in a pregnancy test usually 8-10 days after implantation so if you test after a week your test will be negative.

You can take a test whenever you want. It just wont be accurate and therefore would be a total waste of money and energy. Wait until you miss your period or have your doctor order a blood test 10 days after contact. That should be accurate. Good luck.

No. It takes 8-10 days just to have the egg attach after ovulation. Ovulation occurs about 2 weeks before your period. Test the first day of your missed period or the next day, with first morning urine. Good luck!

i believe i took mine maybe 1 1/2 to 2 weeks after having sex..it came up really faded b/c it was a couple of days before i was supposed to start..and well the period never came and i now have a 4 month old...good luck..if anything just take one they usually come in boxes of 2..i took 6 tests..b/c i kept getting the faded line..but it was faded bc it was so early on in my pregnany..i was only 2 weeks..get the digital..that way you don't have to worry about the lines..it clearly states..pregnant or not pregnant.

No, you need to wait 2 weeks. That should be around the time when your period is supposed to come.

No, you need to wait til you've missed a period. The hormones won't show up in your urine yet, so you need to wait a while. Good luck!
