Ok i know that Spiderman (Peter Parker) lives with his Aunt,my question is whatever happened to his parents? i'm guessing they're dead, if that's the case how did they die?

they died in a plane crash.. don't remember them saying that in the movie but i've read the book (spiderman.. don't remember the author, doh!?!)
p.s hello?? what red skull??? if u've read the book, thats what peter said when he was reading some comic( captain america or something i guess) that- my parents couldn't've died in a stupid plane crash, they died fighting a villian!! to uncle ben...he was just bein a kid, he was 5 when they died, can't belive wekepedia quoted this as a fact!! they died in a plane crash, period!
