the mentally ill do vote...any political elections results bares this out...not only do they have the right to vote..they have the right to run for office and that is very sad.

Yes. Just because they aren't all there in the head doesn't mean that they shouldn't be able to vote. They have to live in this country too. They just may need a little help filling it out but yes I believe that they should be able to vote.

I am not sure, I guess it depends on the degree, if you hold their hand and place it over the ballot you want, I guess then no.
If they can go inside the booth and pull or select the candidate
I guess sure. Please check with the authorities.

I think the most important thing is that they are alive and walking,
unlike the dems attempt recently....having the dead vote.

Mentally ill or not. They are still people and if they properly understand, they have just as much right as everyone else to vote.
