there is nothing great about designer labels except it helps with our status symbol - advertisement makes everyone feel the illusion that if u use designer labels u r rich and glamorous

but we have to face the fact that choosing what we are going to wear should not depend on the label but the style and look of the clothes - it does not matter if it is cheaper but if it looks gud on us - well u can go anywhere with it as long as we feel gud and looks gud on what we wear

we are just helping those designer achieve their goal to be famous and rich - society just gives us reason for them to achieve their goal with the use of our money

the illusion of it is - WE ARE JUST HELPING MAKE THEIR BUSINESS BIG TIME
we need to wake up and be realistic and practical

Sometimes designer is better, but often times the designer means more money so the kids can make others think they are cool. Sucks.

Not a whole lot. Sometimes the designer stuff gives your regular clothes a different look.

Some of it is quality, some of it is fashion/design. But mostly it's markup. They cost a tiny fraction of retail to actually make.

I don't know.. that's a good question. Personally, I don't care about brands. I just buy what I think is cute.
