I have an iPod mini, Works great!

It really depends on you. If you need a lot of space because you like a ton of songs then you might want to get an 8GB nano or a possible a 30GB, 60GB, or 80GB video iPod. If you don't need more than 1000 songs then get the 4GB nano. The 4GB nano will hold 1000 songs whereas the 8GB holds 2000.
If you want a cheap iPod with 500 songs then get the $150 2GB iPod Nano. I also think the iPod Nano 1GB is really cheap but only holds 250 songs.

How many songs would you want to put on? Do you want to play videos on it?

The ipod video plays videos, and the video and nano both show photos.

if u like movies so much that u want to stare at a tiny screen, get a video ipod. if you like great music and photos and don't mind not having a few silly games on your ipod, get a 4GB nano. 2GB is a little small if u love lots of music. get 1 of the new nanos in all those colors!! they r so cool...you'll love them. i have one.

It really depends on what you want. do you like to watch Videos? then the Video iPod is the best choice. but it is on the pricey side. the new nanos are pretty good. yu can put a lot of music on them but its all personal choice. NO SHUFFLE. they are a waiste of money.

the one that didn't come out yet! i've been doing some research and i heard there would be something called an ipod av...and it would have a touch screen...it looked pretty good...i'm am NOT a fan of mac/apple AT ALL...but i would buy that ipod! maybe if you wait till next year it'll come out!
