honestly pyro could beat anyone example; iceman turn his ice to steam, wolvie turn the intensity up kill him right there and then so fast he couldn't heal. and human torch? rip him up he is on fire exploit it.dont say any crap 'bout concentration.

Pyro, he can take control of the human torch and turn his flame on the other three. pryo can also put out the torch.

The Human Torch would probably win. Can Pyro withstand getting burned or can he make fire hot enough to hurt the Torch? Also Iceman beat Pyro in X3

Don't you just love it when people base all of their comic book character knowledge on movie continuity?
First off, pyro is barely an alpha-level mutant.
Secondly, he's dead, Pyro was killed by the Legacy Virus
Thirdly, Pyro was hardly ever good enough for anything but comic relief.
The human torch, while he is brash, impetuous, and often too self assured for his own good, has got more power in his pinky toe than Pyro had in his whole body, period.
Another point that no one seems to have brought up is that while Pyro cannot be harmed by fire, he is basically still human, which means he needs oxygen. The Human torch's powers grant him certain immunities in his powered up form. This allows him to survive in a vacuum. So basically, all Torchy has to do is super heat the air around pyro, and burn up all of the oxygen. This would kill pyro, leaving Johnny free to go pick up chicks

Pyro can only manipulate existing fire. The Torch can ignite and control it. Pyro wouldn't stand a chance against Johnny at all. He can't amp the intensity to nova levels, he can't use it to fly, he can't pick up chicks (go Johnny!).
I'd say Johnny would just intensify the flames until Pyro passed out from the heat.

I go with Torch.
If all else fails he could go supernova... Too fast for Pyro to gain control of and hot enough to kill him. And as many have mentioned the Human Torch is immune ot fire.
And Pyro does need to concentrate to control fire, so telling us not to mention it is like saying: "Agree with me."
Plus pyro controls fire but cannot change its intensity, or generate it. So he is limited by the fire that already exists.

Torch can actually control flames so he could casue Pyro's flame to just go out. Also he has years of experience in using his powers and I dont believe Pyro can reach Nova heat status.
