I would say fart, because I've done plenty of barfing in public, not something I am proud of, but it's happened.

I would say barfing. But what if while barfing you strained and made a fart. Would that be considered the most embarassing? Would you call it a bart, or a farf?

Barf. You can hide a fart and if you are not loud no one will know who did it but if you barf you can't hide who it is.
