has any one ever started to dilate after the doctor checked your cervix?

in your ninth month.the doctor said daughter was still closed,
[that is his words} and if she goes in to labor tonight to go to the hospital.he said this yesterday.and my daughter is starting to feel a little pressure with slite pain and the bottom of her stomach is very hard.

with my last son i was at my doc appt and she did an exam.i had him 10 hours later.i dont know if she caused it but i had him

I would just take her to the hospital to get checked out . It never hurts to do that. They will just send her home if its too early.
