A married man that leaves his family for someone who is 1/2 his age, does he love her? Yes I think he can. Is it Love? maybe. It actually sounds like he is going through a crisis, weather it is a mid-life or just some other family traumas. The real issue here is... as the 21 yr old, are you in love with him? remember love isn't for just right now. It is suppose to be unconditional. are you willing to be a step mom to his children, put off buying for yourself so that his children can have. Are you willing to let his children live with you? if he moves in, he could get the kids too. Are you ready for the jeering you are going to get from your friends, his friends and on lookers. You and he goes to the doctor. and the nurse refers to him as your father, innocent mistake. It is not the normal, so there are going to be people who don't approve, if it is love, that love will see you through those times. If its not do you and him a favor and break it off.

well anything is possible but more than likely it was the thought of a younger girl making him feel attractive. if he doesn't have much to offer love or not this relationship wont last. u need to bring something to table. plus come on a 21 yr old a young impulsive girl who loved to be the other woman ..who is to say she wouldn't do it again or hell who is to say he wouldn't either. age really isn't a thing but number but it does show a person frame of mind and how there decison making will go

He thinks he loves her, she is young, fresh, different
I have a friend who left his family after 9 years for a 20 year old (he is 43 now), and then left this one for a 19 yo, and that did not work either, he has always been the unfaithful kind, so he jumps from one to another (very sad), in your case, if this man is not the kind that has always fool around, maybe its real love

It happens all the time. The guy gets that mid-life crisis and thinks he has to have someone much younger, prettier, more exciting to make him feel younger. He ends up looking like and old fool. She won't keep him long unless he can afford to buy her lots of expensive jewelry and clothes. If he has no money she will tire of him quickly.

He probably thinks he "scored big" with this cute 21 year old on his arm. But in all truth when she gets tired of his old butt. She will find someone new and he will be out in the cold just how he left his family. It's not about love, its about the sex and how it feels to be with someone young and to feel young through them.

It doesn’t matter anymore.

I used to sit and wonder to myself,
what it was, I did so wrong.

Could I have treated you different?
or wrote you, a beautiful song.

I loved you with all of my heart,
and I believed, you truly loved me.

You used to say, I was your true love,
and there was no place, you’d rather be.

How could a love so wonderful and pure,
change, from the day we first met.

Was it I, who did you wrong,
or a friend, I will never forget.

But now, it truly doesn’t matter anymore,
why, you hurt and cheated on me.

Because I know, deep in my heart,
It wasn’t I, who cheated on thee.

So I just want you to know,
that if you ever, think of us two.

My life was truly changed, my dear,
and I deserve, a lot better than you.

After things cool down, and she acts like a typical 21 year-old, he'll realize how foolish he's been.
