Buy this week's Time magazine. It's all about the elections. There are many other magazines, I'm sure, covering the issues as well. Our Sunday paper had a entire section devoted to the subject; maybe yours did also. If you don't have it, maybe you can get it from a friend. Be wary of websites. Many offer opinions not based on fact.

Note that free republic is a conservative website, and while some of the articles posted may be nonpartisan, many of them will not be.

Some sources:

nytimes.com (the New York Times website, free registration)
washingtonpost.com (the Washington Post, I believe registration is free)
Economist.com (website for the Economist, a British weekly newsmagazine that covers us elections.

http://www.electoral-vote.com/ is also useful if you're trying to keep track of polls.

tnr.com (website for the New Republic, a generally liberal publication.)
nationalreview.com (a right win publication)

Also, if you have questions about a specific issue, you can google it.
