15 - 28. And any song from any genre or time frame. Can be popular or even your own sogn you wrote. But for the show it self if you get past the try outs. They give you a list to choose from as they need to know the band can play it and it will be aceptable for the audience (all ages) There are certain times you can pick your own but again they have to aprove them first...

16 and up is the age and you sing anything song that you wnat to sing when you are trying out but when you made it to hollywood thy pick your song for you i'll see you on t.v.
