There's a song I like by a band called Megadeth...the song is called 502. It seems to be about speeding and such, and getting pulled over and getting a "502." Does anyone know what a 502 is?
I have the chorus for the song if it helps:

I know 502 is a police code...but what does it mean?

A 502 is drunk driving. The cop would say "I got a 502" meaning I have a drunk driver.

I believe its a code police use like "we got a 502, roger that" something like that, just a guess. Or that song "187 on an undercover cop" by snoop

It's (or was in 1988) the police vhicles' label code, on their plaque.502.
