Mrs Eden, 3rd grade. She just took a genuine interest in me and my learning. She was lovely and always wore a red jacket. She taught me about self esteem and looking back, I don't think I would have learnt those words anywhere else til I was much older.
Much later, Michell Burstall, university, neuroanatomy. She's a hardass but so cool and make it all very interesting and relevant.

She was absolutely the best! She knew how to make the subject matter interesting and understandable! She gave respect to those that gave her respect...she took the time to understand a student's personal problems as well as academic ones.
