Your work as a chairman of the board in your own company. You get paid even if you don't move. Just don't get your company go bankrupt.

When you say "salarly" that usually means " a fixed, steady paycheck for hours worked"

By that basis, the highest I'm aware of are corporate CEO's.

Now, if you ask "what work has the highest _income_?" then you're opening up to much bigger numbers - people like entertainers and owners of companies like Gates and Buffett, who get very little (if any) of their money from "salary".

are you excluding lawyers, doctors, etc. if so, most union trades pay good. i don't know the highest, but as a union electrician you can make $28. to $38. per hour. i know some are higher.
