that depends entirely on what type of career you are looking for. In any pursuit, dress to impress but not to a point where you are overdressed. i.e. Put you best foot forward and make sure it isn't sweating it up under all that clothes.

Show people that you respect yourself and take yourself seriously, and they are bound to respond in kind.

p.s. suits.... yawn.... unless you want to be in finance, law, or taxidermy... (are those all the same)

Wear what you would wear to a job interview. If you need help interviewing or proper etiquette to observe, a lot of colleges have career centers.

I would recommend that you wear a casual smart wear to the career fair.

To a career fair, wear something that is dressy but classy. Don't overdo it.

From the male perspective... Dress for success. Dark suit, white shirt, tie, black dress shoes. If you don't have it, invest in it.

I don't wear anything because I don't attend them; I do recommend that you wear clothing. I could't resist.
