My father has been a manager for this company for 21yrs and has an exemplary record, however due to 2 seperate incidents that happened at work my father was let go. He was never written up for either of these incidents, but he had to write up his employees that were in violation, and he did this. One week later he was terminated for safety violations. Is this wrongful termination?

I cannot imagine how it would be legal if his past two incidents were not documented. See if he can talk to someone higher up and report that he was fired on undocumented terms. Perhaps the person that fired him had some kind of alternative personal motive so try and find out if that might be the case. If that is the case and you can prove it, it might help.

Depends what state you live in. In Illinois you can be fired for any reason legally except for things like gender, color or age if you are over 40. They could fire you because they don't like the color of your hair and it is legal. Odds are the company knows the law and your father doesn't have a legal leg to stand on.
