Yes there is alot to it actually, because when you are born the stars and planets are all in line a certain way which denotes certain things about your specific personality as a person, and how your affected from day to day with the way the universe changes. I am a Libra and I am very much like the Libra horoscope. People however that are born right on the cusp, which is right at the beginning or end of either sign, can have some traits of one and some of the other, they can be a little harder to figure out. There are very few people I know that don't hold true to their signs. There are more that do than don't. I have three children and even though two of them are on the cusps, they are still pretty much like the sign they were born under. My friends all hold true to their signs also. I have a very good book that will tell you exactly what you are like for your specific day that you were born on, it is called The Power Of Birthdays, Stars, and Numbers, It is written by Saffi Crawford and Geraldine Sullivan. Hope this info helps!

I think horoscopes are good but it need skills to do that. many does for business and thats why it does not seem to be something trustworthy.
But in reality from ancient times, the effect of planet positions during virth and other stuffs are given very high importance.
originally in ancient india, greeks and egyptians were good at it. Later westerners picked up. Not many can do ot correctly.
One great site is www.cainer.com.

Well, if horoscopes are real, then why do I (a Gemini), who is uniquely different from anyone else on the face of the earth, have the SAME horoscope as the other 300,000,000 Geminis living on earth? Can someone explain that?
I have a friend who calls horoscopes... "Horror-scopes"!

In reference to the descritions they generalize, as to describing the future, they don't work but they make a great excuse.
