Orgy-porgy is kind of slang term for the ritual orgies people have in the novel. Soma is the drug they always take; it's a mixture of cocaine and morphine.

i read the book like 2 yrs ago and have just started re-reading it. I have no memory of him taking any of the soma or joining in on the orgy porgy, which means i hightly doubt it.

Without going back to look at the book, I would say "orgy-porgy" is Huxley's deliberate corruption of the British/Scots slang words "argy-bargy" which means something like a "loud or rough argument or confrontation". But I'm sure in the novel, the connotation is sexual.

To help future students studying this novel, you should know that the rhyme actually came from Georgie Porgie
