Some of her writings have "blown me away". She writes stories and poems. Her latest poem was about her Gramma who recently passed away. It brought me to tears. I would very much like someone to look at her work.

Talk to her teachers! My teachers were a great help with my writing- they will know about student contests that she could enter. My english teacher entered me in a state contest and some of my writing was published in a literary magazine.

Look into literary magazines in your state- they usually accept submissions from every age group.

edit: I'd be wary of some online publishers, though I'm sure there are some you can trust. Share her work with family and friends, too- you may find someone with a connection that will get your daugter some recognition. Good luck!

Do you have a local newspaper? A small-town weekly would be best, as they'd be most open to freelance material. Publication there would teach her to tell the story simply and to the point, and she'd get to show off her by-line, which is not payment, but it's definitely incentive! It would teach her how to structure, self-edit, tighten, and keep things to X lines, while still leaving oodles of room to write in her unique voice.

There are a number of Bibles obtainable, and that all of them attempt to collect the main sacred of the texts of a spiritual faith. in case you're actually not a member of that faith-stroll, the Bible, of direction, won't propose something to you, and rightly so. First we've the Jewish Bible, it somewhat is yet another term for the Hebrew Bible, it somewhat is the number of texts sacred to Jewish theory. we've a number of Christian Bibles: Orthodox (the oldest), Roman Catholic, and Protestant. those are very somewhat different takes on truly an identical number of literature. All of those Bibles are quite much comparable, different than for some imprecise texts that are the two in or out, in keeping with who's in fee on the time. Frankly, those texts are merely no longer that substantial. I somewhat have not gotten into the countless variations, by using fact's a very different question altogether.

I would create a website for her, she can even use art work and animation and music and sound to make it more exiting and significant.

She can even have a poetry slam, like singing the poem and expressing it with true emotion and you should video her, again you can create a cool website with this video with flash and stuff like that.

You could take them to the local newspaper, or there are free poem sites on the internet where they publish your work for free.
