There is a new kind of lens cleaner called Clear Care. It comes with a special case for your lenses. Its a diluted form of hydrogen peroxide. It works great. I've been using it for a while now and i haven't had any irritation yet.

For the love of God don't get the solution in your eyes though.
The case holds the lenses upright and dissolves a "disc" in the solution. In five to six hours the peroxide is neutralized and the lenses are safe to put in your eyes. Don't ask me what the "disc" is made of but it works.

The only drawback is its rather expensive and you have to refill the case every night.

Hope this helps!

You may want to switch solutions first and see if that works. Or it could be your eye makeup. Make sure your makeup is safe for contact lens wearers.

Most cosmetics are, but some do not indicate if they are or aren't--so I assume, if there is no indication, then it may not be suitable for those who wear contacts.

I have Acuvue Toric lenses and only use Opti-Free Replenish Solution. It is essential that you soak your lenses for at least 6 hours!

When I wear eye makeup, I tend to use baby wipes or Almay Makeup Remover pads to get eye makeup off. Whatever you use, be sure it's safe for contact lenses or sensitive eyes.

I prefer to take my lenses off BEFORE I take off my makeup and wash my hands and face. However you do it, make sure your hands are clean.

maybe you should try another brand of contacts. i wear a lot of eye makeup up as well and i use o2optics(think that's how ya spell it). i was taught that you should apply makeup first then insert your contacts.

i usually drop in some rewetting solution into my eyes to keep it clear and fresh.

always take your contacts out at night to clean them and store them

You should use saline solution (not contact solution, but saline, availible at most drug stores) and rinse out your contacts for at least 30 seconds every time you take it off. Also, you might want to avoid wearing contacts for long hours.
