I can't really answer this, but what a great question! I guess the rock star crowd's are more active and eat better or less than the hip hop crowd.

ppl who listen 2 rock can be fat also; dont judge a group by the ppl who mainly represent them! *slash, slash* lol..dont get me wrong im not defending hip hop, i actually hate it. BTW i know some meta bands that have some chubby members. for example, look @ jack black! (...he is 1 among others...)

hip hop fans are on a whole nother level. Since you made that stereotype imma make one. Most rockers are usually on meth, heroine, cocaine, LCD if i typed it right im sure you know huh. You brain cells may be a little fried so im gonna leave my answer where it is i wouldnt want to go over your head. Its probably hard enough for you read as it is

It's a cultural thing - some cultures don't mind a little heft to their bodies, while others (predominantly white) tend to go for the slim look. One way lies anorexia, the other way lies a heart attack - but the anorexics aren't enjoying their dinner nearly as much.

okay, let's put it this way: hip-hoppers are mostly black and hispanics. rockers are mostly white. caucasians (mostly women) are usually skinnier. minority women are usually bigger. anyway, the bottom line is that weight just like race has nothing to do w/ it. by the way, i'm black/asian/hispanic, i listen to both rock and hip-hop, and i weight about 105lbs.
