It has thinner atmosphere and is further from the sun, so it should be dimmer, however the entire planet is highly reflective sand so it can probably be somewhat bright to the eye as well.
But as compared to Earth, I would imagine it's dimmer.

Yes there is light, although it won't be as bright as it is on the earth because mars is further away from the sun then earth is. I don't know how accurate this would be but take a look at some of the pictures the mars rovers have taken, that should give you a good idea of what sunlight looks like there. It still looks pretty bright there.

Mars rotates just like the earth with a sunny side and a shaded side, day and night. Probably the day is slightly less bright on Mars than on the earth due to the fact that Mars is further away from the sun. But Mars also has less atmosphere and maybe that is a factor to consider.

Sunlight at Mars is about half as intense as at Earth because Mars is farther from the Sun.

It's only 50% most of the time. Thanks for asking. I just learned something myself.
"The sunlight that reaches Mars is only half as intense as that on this planet, and Mars' atmospheric pressure and density are about 100 times less than Earth's."

From the photos you can get an impression, but the photos are often touched up or adjusted in colour or brightness for easy viewing.
Its almost like twilight, just after sunset.
