Spotting can be a sign of pregnancy, maybe you should take a pregnancy test to be sure.
You may have been "torn" or hurt in some way during sex...if it wasn't a lot and you're not in pain, I don't think it's something to worry about.

if by spotting you mean your getting a bit of blood down there then either you werent pregnant or u may have possibly had a miscarriage but unless the sex you had was really violent then it wouldnt be from having sex i dont think. i spotted a few times through pregnancy, but because they had already established that i was pregnant they treated the case as an emergency. turns out i had a tare in my amnioyic sac and the fluid was draining a tad. apparently when the baby is old enough to have finger nails they can actually cut the sack. weird huh. if no-one is real healpful on here go visit your doc but i dont think you should worry too much:)

If you are pregnant spotting can mean alot of diffrent things. It can be implantation bleeding during sex you could have iritated the cervix which is more sensitive during pregnancy and last of all and I don't mean to scare you but it could be the begining of miscarriage thats how my miscarriage started. So in pregnancy any spotting should be reported to your doctor even if you feel that it is nothing.
Good luck and best wishes

I know that when you are pregnant, it is perfectly normal to have a little spotting after having sex or a pelvic exam at the DR. But I'm a little confused by your question, as to whether you are pregnant or not. But like I said if you are preg. then it is just slight irritation on your cervix and causes it to bleed a little, as long as it doesnt last, or become heavy at all.

Do you know if you are in fact pregnant? I would definately say that taking a test would be the first step, if you are you should make a dr. appt and ask them about it when you call. I never spotted during mine pregnancy so I am not sure if it's normal.
