If i buy an Unlocked Sidekick 3, will i be able to use it at verizon???

The Sidekick 3 is a GSM only device and Verizon uses a CDMA network..the two aren't interoperable. In addition to being completely incompatible with the network...the only providers in the US offering the Sidekick service are AllTell and Tmobile..and you HAVE to have the sidekick data service for the device to work, it does not access the internet like other phones and won't work without communication with the Sidekick/Hiptop service.

No. Verizon's system isn't compatible with it. And Danger (who the internet service is through) will not let you use the data portion. They're blocking it on Canadian ones (we call 'em Hiptops), so logic stands that they will probably do it to American ones.

An unlocked Sidekick is absolutely worthless because of that.

tmobile uses gsm technology which uses a sim card, wheras verizon doesn't, sprint cant either, alltell can so u mite wanna buy it but on cingular service bcuz its a gsm user too
