did Chivas y America really tie? Why would it be a friendly game? Did Bravo score a goal? also if anyone went to the Barca game vs Chivas on Aug. 6 ...why was that game considered a "friendly game?"....

This type of games are called "friendly games" when a match is set up by the tecnicos and club presidents from 2 teams. They are meant to entertain the vast amounts of Chivas and Barcelona fans.
Chivas vs Amierdica:
They tied 1 to 1. The highest scorer player of Chivas, Omar Bravo, sent a very good pass to Sergio Santana, who ended up scoring the one goal from Chivas.
Chivas vs Barcelona:
Even though they also tied this game 1 to 1, the game was 'off the hook'!!! I was there at LA, watching the best match of 2006. There was so many people, 93,000 to be exact. Barcelona couldn't perform their professional soccer talents with el Rebano Sagrado.

They were both a friendly game or an "Exhibition game" because it was a game just for fun and the outcome doesn't make any differnce (on record at least). I wish I coud've gone to the Barca Chivas game! It was in LA where I live and the tickets were SOLD OUT!! ahhh I missed my chance to see them play :(
And yes they did tie. Sergio Santana scored for Chivas but Omar Bravo assisted it.

Yup! they really did tie! 1-1. I guess it would be considered a friendly game becuz it waz outside the apertura season. in the 24 min cabanas scored for america and in the 54 min santana scored for chivas.
Oh and the barca game waz so awesome!!! That game waz considered friendly cuz barca waz touring in the usa probobly just for advertisement. :p
