Judges shouldn't be rewarded seats via their political contributions!

Judgeships should rewarded by their merit, qualifications, and their competence.

Did you note this line in that article? "There are no laws or regulations prohibiting political contributions by a candidate for a federal judgeship."

Also, a nearly identical article was posted with contributions from liberal judges to Bill Clinton. This is a long established practice that has gone on for decades and is NOT confined to one political party.
