I am gonna go with Training day because it was a different roll for him portraying the bad guy. I just watched Inside Man in which he did well in it also. As well as a good job by Clive Owen and excellant directing by Spike Lee.

I would have to say, Remember the Titans. But not just because of Denzel but the whole premise of the movie and everyone in it. It's one of those inspirational football movies but it's in a class of it's own.

Crimson Tide. Denzel really hold on his own against the legendary Gene Hackman. I loved the movie, powerful acting and story.
