Get on one, and you'll never fear them again..no joke.
Just takes the courage to get on the first one.

I agree. You just have to muster the courage to take that first step. Make sure it's a big one though not a little one or you'll be thinking "Well that was only a little one that's why it was okay." Just take the plunge. There are more accidents in cars than on rollercoasters rides and airplanes. Separately. And the only thing that will really happen if you get stuck on a rollercoaster is that you'll be sitting up in the hot sun for a bit either right side up or upside down. The ride immediately stops if something is wrong and I've never heard of a ride plummeting off the tracks. Plus you're strapped in. So good luck!!!! Hope you have fun!

I would say warm yourself up to them, give yourself some time riding the smaller coasters and get comfortable riding them first before you go for a big boy. Modern coasters are very safe, and while they will give you that falling feeling, unless there's a major disaster, you're not gonna fall. I've been to DisneyWorld (not Disneyland) after spending a childhood living about 1/2 an hour from Cedar Point and I found most of Disney's rides tame, so I think it will be a good introduction and a good place to face your fear.

yes i had the same issue, the main thing is to start off small. Start off with the kiddie roller coasters, they go a little fast, give you a little preview of the feeling of adrenaline but they are usually pretty short. Do that a couple times. Then go onto the bigger rides, it worked for me! And that way you can get to enjoy all the rides at Disney, have fun! I know you will, ive been to disneyworld like 16 times haha and i loooove it. I went for the first time when i was 8 and now im 21, and it definately definately gets better with age! Just make sure you at least try evrything, that way you wont have any regrets. And remember, that disney rides are extremely extremely safe. Good Luck

What's the worst thing that could happen? you're heart races a little, you feel all nervous . . . you'll be fine. You're all strapped in and safe - much safer than in a car!

But, don't start out at the big rollercoaster at CA adventure. I think it's called California Screaming. It starts off at full speed - no warm up - and you never quite "recover" from the initial shock of the super fast takeoff until it's over. Definitely check out Soaring Over CA though - it's not a rollercoaster, but you feel like you're flying, and if you get scared, you can look over the edge of your seat and see that the floor isn't very far away.

Just go on them anyway. I hate roller coasters and I have a horrible irrational fear of heights, but I'll do anything with my family. Just laugh hysterically when you get off and remember that you're still alive.

Get on any high places you can now.
also, there are plenty of rides in Disneyland that aren't roller coasters if you don't ever find a solution. I'd start with the short ones, then work your way up.

Start off on a "tame" roller coaster. One that doesn't have loops or anything too freaky.

Once you master that one, try a little scarier one...and so on.

It really is a thrill and a rush. You should try it, at least once.

nicely, i replaced into terrified from curler coasters considering the fact that i replaced into little. For me, I in basic terms mustered somewhat braveness to a minimum of get on the experience, I incredibly a lot closed my eyes the finished way and while it replaced into over and that i replaced into nevertheless secure, I have been given over my worry. the toughest area is being in line, it incredibly is intimidating and could make you much extra traumatic. you are able to desire to circulate on a experience with out lines to sidestep that component.
