WASHINGTON - George W. Bush has not only trampled on the U.S. Constitution but he has wiped his shoes with it. Bush, unlike all of his predecessors, has maliciously and egregiously violated his oath of office and the laws of the United States.
For these high crimes, a Democratic-led House Judiciary Committee, under the chairmanship of Michigan's John Conyers, an experienced, progressive lawmaker with 21-terms under his belt, has a duty to swiftly initiate impeachment proceedings.

yes the president should be impeached.the lies he has told are far more damaging to this country and this country's credibility throughout the world than the lie Clinton told about an affair.goes to show you what too much power in the houses for the republicans will do.i believe since this administration has failed our country that they blew their chance and the democrats should be voted into power.but i think if we can survive the rest of this president's term,we should impeach when his term is up.just like they did to Clinton.i think this would be the best way because :do we really want Dick Cheney running this country?in my opinion attacking someones country under false pretenses no matter how bad the leader of that country is is a far more greater crime to warrant impeachment than a man not telling the truth about an affair with a woman.

Every 4 years we have an impeachment process in America, it is called the General Presidential Election. Currently the democrats are doing all the right things and are ahead by about 20 points in any poll you care to look at. It would be stupid and beyond dumb for the Democrats to do anything that could come back and bite them in 2 years. In just about week we are going to elect the most ideal situation America can have, a President from one party and a House & Senate from another. There will be no chance that anything polictically can get accomplished in the next 2 years so just relax, things will be fine.
As far as George W. and his high crimes are concerned you needed a guy who was going to kick a little butt in America after those wonderful people drove those planes into our buildings and killed 3,000 of our citizens and as far as I can remember in the last 5 years no Muslims have collected any virgins by blowing up anything else in the USA.
Now is the time to take it down one notch and that will happen once this upcoming election is over.

I firmly believe that president Bush has used the office as a personal weapon to enhance his own lifestyle. I believe we only went to war so he could attempt to earn back respect for his fathers short-comings and failures while he held the office. I believe he has harmed US relations and should be on trial for his actions. much more than impeached but also placed behind bars.

Yes, by all means.
But still it wouldn't make much difference. Think of all the big oil companies behind bush, forcing him to go on with the war. They would never let him stop it even if he wanted to. This is just one of many other examples.
What I'm saying is that those who have the most money (and its not bush) can manipulate him easily and mold him into what they want. He's got no choice. I'm not saying he's a good president, but just think about it, it could happen with the next one too.

Keep watching the most bias name in news- MSNBC and you will be thoroughly brainwashed.
Your logic needs help, why impeach a President who has made our economy better than ever, and has secured our Nation, and that has liberated IRAQ?
Why not impeach Clinton? He had relations with another woman, sat on his hands while Osama ran around, and was good for nothing?
Waterboarding is not torture, it is to be used on the worst terrorist in order to get information from them to prevent another 9/11. It is not to be abused, and it is not harsh.
By God, I would rather do that to an evil Islamic Terrorist, than to allow another 3,000 American lives to be lost, all for the sake of political correctness.
Apparently, you wouldn't, you feel sorry for the terrorist and have their best interest in mind.
You want to leave Iraq as a present for Al Quida, You don't want to intercept their communication, and you don't want to send them to prison.
Nice, We should try you and others like you for Treason instead.

yes. Lack of discipline as he misled americans in going to war. the WMD "evidence" was very weak. And he knew that too. We know what the consequences are as we see the nightmare that is iraq. He was too careless. That is not leadership. The DOD and state department were acting like kids fighting each other's department. Meanwhile Bush is like the sub. teacher who can't control the students. He is weak-minded and lacks leadership skills.

No way! Bush is a great man and a great president. Mark my words, he will go down in history as one of the best presidents this country has ever had. I know the Dem-Libs hate him, but honestly if Kerry had been elected, Alqaida would have accomplished their goal of annihilating this country.
You should thank God that Kerry did not win in '04 because you might have been one of the casualties.

Pull him out..the only problem is Chaney will take his place and that would be just as bad. The american people are the idiots that wanted four more years. I guess we should have thought about how devastating that would be to the country before we jumped off the deep end.

Come on, If Mr. Clinton can LIE to the entire world and degrade women, smear their character to save himself and still be mentioned as one of our admired Presidents. Only a Liberal mind would think that's OK and want to bring a GOOD MAN like President Bush down.
