He sometimes seems even depressed. We once liked each other, but we are better just being friends. Does our friendship have anything to do with him not getting girls? U know, because his best friend is a girl. I just don't know how to help him. I want to so badly though because I hate to see him so sad.

I understand just how he feels. I have this friend that "sweet" talks and when I turn around he gets beat up by another girl.
This is the answer. You hook him up with someone. Tell him how funny, sensitive or sweet he is with another girl to make her go out with him. You'll see how that will change in anything.
Another is that find a beautiful girl who matches him. Who has a lot in common with him. That would work just fine.
Another one is that make him go out with a girl that likes HIM. That will help even more.
When it doesn't work in one of them, cheer him up.

first let him know that girls like guys that are confident. just because you are friends doesn't mean he can't get a girl. my best friend is a guy and it's really helpful for him because i give him my point of view from a girls eyes. also the saying is true, the person will come when you're not looking. tell him to find other activities that don't have to do with finding a gf and then poof she'll come along. promise

Wow. If I had a boyfriend I wouldn't dress up like that anywhere. Heck, even without a boyfriend now I don't dress up like that! She's obviously an attention seeker. If I had a boyfriend I'd dress up nicely or casual, but not to the point where I look like I'm in a bra and underwear. I'd rather wear a cute dress or on comfy days a nice pair of jeans and a cute top/sweater/jacket on top. Yikes. Not booty shorts and a cloth on top. -.-

Take a good look at your friend with objective eyes. Does he need something in the way of grooming, clothes, haircut, etc.?Does he have good manners? Is he very shy? If anything applies, it might be a good idea to alert him and help him with a makeover. Also, maybe his sad demeanor is scaring the girls away. Girls like confident guys who look good, can tease and flirt and are happy.

Tell ur friend that there is more to life than just girl friends, if he does not like this response, take him to places he really likes going, that should distract him from all this nonsense. i have lots of things that i can do, and i dont even have the money to do it!!!!

look sweetheart my best freinds are guys and they don't get turned down but look give him advice on getting a girlfreind tell him what normal girls he likes like then introduce him to a few then if he's really sweet and cute he'll get a girlfreind trust me i had to help my best freind jon to get th egikrl of his dreams it wasn't easy but we succeeded k hope everything goes right for you and your best freind hope he get's the girl of his dreams k have fun wit that!!!!!!!!!(-:
