While there are many other synonyms for the word pill, I believe the word you're looking for is medicine or medication. Some other words that can be substituted for pill are bolus, lozenge, pellet, pilule, tablet, troche

There are several ways you can find synonyms. Probably the quickest way is to type the word into Microsoft Word, highlight it, go into the Tools menu, select Language, and Word will give you a list.

Or: try going on line and doing a search that says synonym for, say, pills...:)

Or: you might want to pick up a copy of Roget's Thesaurus

Now that you know how to look up synonyms, the results of your future searches/research will be easier to remember.
