I must agree with the other ladies here, it is the best feeling in the whole wide world.......it will make you feel like you are in heaven. My son kicking felt like a little chicken hatching, tap tap tap, bubbles like feeling, I would make the room dark and then turn the T.V. on and watch him go at my stomach, the glow from the t.v. made it look amazing....have fun, these are the days

Ooooo my lil man used to do this ALL the time. People tease however it *quite* hurts. Fortunately, it feels bruised on the grounds that it is, good, bruised... and now not completely broken. :) I have no idea what motives it, on the grounds that I DO realize that youngster's foot does not honestly move up to your ribs or beneath your armpit even if it feels love it. And I can let you know that it's flawlessly typical (however painful) But, as I inform everybody, irl and on-line, if you're worried AT ALL approximately *whatever* for the duration of your being pregnant, speak in your general practitioner approximately it. Just on the grounds that the possibility of some thing is low doesn't suggest it's unattainable. Be dependable and provide your document a decision. Even if not anything is fallacious (which I real think) it's going to provide you peace of brain.

Well, first when you start feeling the baby, you'll feel what they call "flutters" or "quickening" -- it's different for everyone. Some say it's like a butterfly fluttering in your stomach. Others say it feels like popcorn popping. I didn't feel flutters, I felt gentle tapping and popcorn popping inside my belly. They say that if it's your first pregnancy, you can start feeling the baby between 16 & 22 weeks, but don't worry if you don't feel him/her by then. Like I said, everyone's different.
When you are further along, you feel quick jabs. For a while, you'll be able to feel it, but no one else will. Whenever I'd feel the baby, I'd ask my husband, "Can you feel him?"
He'd say, "No." Poor guy. :(
Now, my baby kicks like crazy. Sometimes my husband can feel him, but other times he can't. I think the next step is when you feel fetal movements and actually see the baby moving across your tummy. That's when the baby is bigger and stronger. I can't wait to see him move!
Congrats!

Starts off feeling like bubbles or gas, lol. When the baby has hiccups it feels like popcorn in your stomach and when the baby gets bigger you can feel the kicks stronger. Sometimes it feels like a wave in your stomach. Its amazing! Congrats!

well at first when my baby first started to move i thought it was gas lol!!! but now that shes gotten bigger i can litterally tell if its her foot or if shes moving her hands around or just stretching out in all directions. my mom had 3 kids she said she felt kicking but not like what i just described. so i guess its different for everyone, or maybe im just really sensitive to whats going on. but now that my baby is getting....even BIGGER....those little kicks hurt and it feels like shes right under my boobies *eeek!!* and it hurts sometimes. but its fun to see little lumps sticking out. i love it and try to tickle her...but i guess she doesnt like it cause she always kicks me. *sigh* :)

My wife says "it feels like a butterfly dancing around in there". Very soft in the early months and then you will know for sure as you get farther along!
