either 499 for the basic one without all the features
or 599 for the good one with card readers and wifi

They are supposedly coming out this month and year and the price keeps dropping so last I heard was 500 USD.
But Sony is haveing some problems and all but their original Playstation ends up being released later then expected,... by years in the long run.
This PS3 is already late and if it's like the other things,.. either they will release it on Dec 1st to be smart like the other game companies or they will do like they did before and you'll be waiting until about March.

To buy a PS3 with a 20GB Hard Drive,you'll pay $500.
To buy one with a 60GB Hard Drive,built-in Wi-Fi & Media Card Reader,you'll pay $600.

The minor version is $500 and the major version is $600. If you buy one, buy the $600. It has so many more things that the minor version. The things it has that the minor version doesn't are worth about $250 more if you buy them seperately.

Ok, all you people werent very specific.
$600 - upgraded version that includes a 60 gig hard drive
$500 - low-end version that has a 20 gig hard drive
And it comes out november 17th. They got one thing right, and that was coming out before the wii.

it's too expensive and it's coming out too soon.
the basic unit is $499
the usual bundle deal is $599
i believe it comes out next month...i saw it in the toys-r-us catalog.
i predict failure on this strictly because of price....i'm not spending $500 on a freakin gaming system...

its gonna be around 500. but the games are gonna be blu ray so they're gonna set you back too
