Would the American political system have been likely to show any influence? Could the European powers have won the war without American assistance?

I think that no side could have won the war, and there would have been an exhausted stalemate. The revolution in Russia would still have occurred.

There is a good chance that Hitler would not have gained power in Germany as the myth of the stab in the back would not have been available. Economic conditions may have been such that he, or someone like him, may still have achieved power.

Without rampant German nationalism Europe may have avoided WW II. Without WW II the Soviet bloc may not have come into existence.

I doubt that the map would have been much different in the west. In the east Poland may not have revived, and would still be divided between Germany and Russia.

But who knows - it is all speculation.

Don't think so.
Germany would probably have stablished some kind of Empire grouping all european nations.
Something like the Soviet Union, but right winded.
